Maria Letizia joined the firm in 2015.
She mainly deals with intellectual property, copyright and industrial law, new technologies and social media law. She has also gained specific experience in music law, collective management of copyright, art and cultural heritage law, film law, Internet Service Providers responsibility, trademark and design protection.
Maria Letizia is a member of ATRIP (Association Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property), of ALAI (International Literary and Artistic Association), of the Legal Institute for Entertainment and of the Italian Association of Sports Lawyers. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Law, Market and Technology (DIMT) and of the Journal of Sports Law. She is a former expert consultant of the Commission for Resale Rights, of the Special Commission for the transposition of Directive 2014/26 / EU, of the Special Commission for the format, of the Commission for the setting of remuneration for private copying, at the Permanent Advisory Committee for Copyright (MIBACT). Maria Letizia has been a member of the Order of Journalists since 2012.
Since 2016, she has been a research fellow at the European University of Rome and is a lecturer in the subject in the department of Commercial Law at the same university and is a professor of the Management of Tourism and SSPL Masters. She also collaborates with the Research Center of Excellence for Copyright (CREDA) at the European University of Rome.
