Banking and insurance law

The department operates mainly in the litigation sector and deals with issues relating to:

  • Contractual relationships and the provision of financial intermediation services
  • Procedures for compensation for financial losses resulting from financial investments
  • The responsibility of the financial intermediary for violation of the behavioural and information obligations connected to the trading of financial instruments
  • The joint liability of the financial intermediary for the offenses attributed to its financial advisors

It also handles issues related to companies’ access to finance, as well as all matters relating to insurance law, with particular reference to insurance products and the execution of related contractual relationships.
